How does AI authentication work?

Our AI system analyzes item images, descriptions, and provenance data to assess authenticity, estimate value, and detect potential fraud. Items receive a confidence score, and high-value items are additionally reviewed by our expert panel.

What happens if I receive a fake item?

All purchases are escrow-protected. If you receive an item that doesn't match the listing, you can raise a dispute within 14 days. Our moderation team reviews evidence from both parties and issues a resolution, including full refunds for verified misrepresentations.

How fast do sellers get paid?

After the buyer confirms delivery (or the 14-day auto-release window passes), funds are released from escrow to the seller. Sellers can then request a payout to their bank account, typically processed within 2-3 business days.

What are trust tiers?

Trust tiers (New User, Established, Trusted, Premium) are based on your verification level, transaction history, dispute record, and platform behavior. Higher tiers unlock larger bid limits and lower deposit requirements.

Is my payment information secure?

We use Tap Payments, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Your card details are never stored on our servers. All transactions are encrypted with SSL/TLS.

Can I sell items from outside the UAE?

Yes, Aateeq Auctions accepts sellers from across the GCC and MENA region. International sellers need to complete full KYC verification and provide valid shipping arrangements.
